I recommend a heavier paper weight (65lb+) for alcohol markers and paints. Watercolor paints need an even heavier weight and you will want to check to see what your printer can handle. 
My personal printer is a cheap thing and can only handle up to 63lb paper weight but I have found papers in this range to be suitable for alcohol markets and colored pencils. 

All coloring pages are hand drawn by me, often traced over photographs I have taken.
